And the journey begins...

On April 22, 2002, Christopher became mysteriously ill.  After numerous doctors' appointments, we ended up at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center.  By October 2003, we finally had a diagnosis:  Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy with Encephalitis.  We were told due to Christopher's drastic decline in his health that Christopher would succumb to the disease sooner than later.  We knew at the time of diagnoses that a cure was illogical.  All we had was hope for as much time as God would grant us.  Now after an unimaginable 10 years of enduring treatments, tests, new diagnoses and other unexplainable endeavors, there may be a chance for a Miracle.  We will keep you posted at upcoming fundraisers and events to help Christopher with travel expenses, equipment, medical costs, etc.  Thank you for all your support and love.
